The World Was Not Worthy

Through many of our missionary experiences, we have been blessed with meeting truly outstanding individuals. People who felt the call of God, and faithfully left their homes and families to serve the Church in a foreign land. Some of these missionaries travelled with young families in tow; sometimes on long sea voyages and for multiple year assignments with little communication with their home countries. We have great respect for these early saints and their sacrifices. But what was required in courage, tenacity and Christian calling to serve as a single female missionary? We are in awe and profoundly grateful.

Pastor Don Dennison, former Cross-Cultural Ministries Director for the Churches of God General Conference and current Msaada Board member shares the stories of five exceptional women in his new book, “The World Was Not Worthy”. Listen to Don’s description of the book:

Congratulations and thank you, Pastor Don for sharing these stories. In our current world of self-centeredness, it is a blessing to be reminded of selfless service to others.
