Malawi Heart Centers

A Minnesota-based congregation, Westwood Community Church, partnered with World Relief Malawi to build a series of community training centers in dispersed villages throughout Malawi. The purpose of the centers are to bring relief to a country emerging from the effects of AIDS and HIV, using trained educators to reach the communities and improve the standard of living by teaching courses in the following areas: Health, Education, Agriculture, Refugee Assimilation and Trade. The village centers include community gathering space, classrooms, medical treatment / exam rooms, counseling rooms, offices, kitchens and toilet facilities.
