Testimony

“My favorite Msaada project has been a school in Derier More, Forets des Pins, Haiti, which was built for Parole et Action. This project moved me in particular because of the testimonies from the users. There was no school in the area, so students had to travel several kilometers to make it to school and then return home very late. They would have to walk for hours. Msaada’s design applied the Daahji Method using mostly locally available materials for the construction which meant the whole community participated in providing materials to the contractors. Whether it was rocks, sand or water from the river. Men had jobs and the children got a school. That was a heart moving experience for me.” Euvodine Exantas
