  • Total Projects: 3

MSAADA has been involved in various capacities for three projects in Russia totalling 2,605 sqm.  All projects have been fully or partly funded by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, World Mission.

The initial project was for a new church center in Nizhny Novgorod, while the next involved renovation of the 300-year-old St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg.  The last was converting a commercial building in Novosibirsk into a church center.

MSAADA’s involvement in all three projects primarily consisted of consultancy for each of the three project locations in assisting Russian architects and engineers to arrive at designs that were functionally appropriate. MSAADA also assisted in two of the situations with negotiating reasonable costs with the building contractors doing the construction. Finally, MSAADA helped get two of the pastors (who in both cases were former builders) on board as Clerk of Works on the projects in order to reduce the cost for that, which ultimately facilitated very close and effective construction supervision/observation.
