The new state-of-the-art prosthetics and orthotics training facility, designed by MSAADA Architects on behalf of Healing Hands for Haiti (HHH), provides space for twenty students and training staff. MSAADA also provided construction supervision services for this project funded in part by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Giving new life to ten used steel shipping containers from Haiti’s port, generous windows provide natural illumination, reducing the need for electric lighting. The design of the roof’s venting clerestory keeps the space comfortably cool in Haiti’s hot sun.

This facility is one of three buildings designed by MSAADA on the HHH campus. Learn about another partnership between HHH and ICRC, the P&O Outpatient Center, or the HHH Guesthouse, for both of which MSAADA also provided architectural and construction management services.
