Originally founded in 1915, Kijabe Medical Centre is a 340-bed, non-profit hospital with more than 700 staff members from across Kenya and Africa and other international locations. MSAADA designed several new buildings, in addition to expansions and renovations of existing buildings on the campus, such as maternity wards, operation/surgical suites, dental units, and pediatric facilities, and others. More than 200 surgeries are performed at the hospital every month. The hospital is well-known for its excellent service to its patients; because they know they can expect a high quality of care, patients oftentimes travel great distances to receive treatment at Kijabe Hospital.

The hospital also serves as a training center for Kenyan and international future health care professionals and is a mission hospital of Samaritan’s Purse.
