This community college established by India’s Arcot Lutheran Church with support by the Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry (LPGM) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, serves an area devastated by the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004. MSAADA completed campus master planning and construction drawings for the campus buildings.  The first building on the campus was completed in 2006, and construction of other buildings is continuing; the campus is expected to be completed by 2015. The school strives to enhance lives of the local community by improving access to better-paying jobs; the curriculum includes technical education in subjects such as computers, auto mechanics, home electrical, medical assistance, and air conditioning repair.
