The Salvation Army school campus in Luly needed several new buildings to replace those destroyed by the 2010 earthquake. MSAADA designed the new classroom building, where approximately 350 students are now students. The campus also now includes a new kitchen building used to prepare meals for students and a new residence for the school director. Architectural considerations such as natural lighting, rainwater collection, and cross ventilation were incorporated into the designs, and as the buildings are located in an area threatened by earthquakes and very near to the ocean, each features fully seismic- and hurricane-resistant structural design.
