The Salvation Army has maintained a presence in Haiti since 1950, and the international organization has been particularly active in the country rehabilitation efforts. In addition to rebuilding schools (for many of which MSAADA provided design and construction supervision services) that had been destroyed in the earthquake that hit Haiti in January 2010, The Salvation Army provides numerous other social services  throughout the country. For the housing project shown above, MSAADA provided design and construction supervision services for the construction of seven units of housing for The Salvation Army staff officers, including the organization’s Divisional (Caribbean) Commander. These units are designed for (modest) comfort of the staff and their families, featuring a secure common yard and modern facilities and utilities.
