Jeff Potts, MSAADA’s Clerk of Works on site in Ethiopia, has news for the projects at Soddo Christian Hospital. “All the projects are going well and have sped up considerably over the past month as their respective deadlines approach…both duplexes should be complete by the end of October.” “[The Surgeons’ Residence Hall] project is going very well…with the roof now in progress, while the lower floor is being fit out with piping, electricity and plastering.”

Construction is well underway for St. Vincent’s Physical Rehabilitation Center in Haiti.
From Jacob Wollensak, MSAADA’s Clerk of Works on site for the Cholera Treatment Center in Haiti, we now have photos of the center under construction! Jacob writes, “I am happy to report that both projects are moving forward at a steady pace…We have completed the foundation and are about halfway done with compacting the soil and installing the hardcore. As you will see in the photos, we have started setting up the formwork for the edge of the floor slab…The site, at times, will have around 80 workers which makes for a pleasantly chaotic day at the site!”
Healing Hands for Haiti with support from the International Committee of the Red Cross completed the new outpatient Physical Rehab Center. Steven Fisher M.D., Chairman of the Board for HHH, commented, “I want to thank [MSAADA] again for the beautiful ICRC building…I was extremely impressed with the building when I finally got to see it at the opening ceremony.” The building is now fully operational and treating patients.
